Application Review Process
How Admission Decisions Are Made
Admissions decisions are made based on a comprehensive review of applicants and their supporting documents The primary emphasis in admission is academic promise. All the materials that a student submits-application, transcript(s), test results-are reviewed and considered. Admissions committees look for evidence of promise in the student's grades, rank in class, grade point average, grade trend and the strength of the program such as number of academic courses, honors or advanced placement courses and test scores. Additionally, the number and academic quality of students who are admitted are dependent upon space availability and the competitive nature of applicants in any given year. Priority is given to academically competitive applicants who complete their applications by our priority deadline.
