Information About Applying

We strongly encourage applicants to apply online. Last year more than 90% of our applicants used our secure online application. Not only is the process fast and user friendly, but it also saves your information between logins for up to 60 days and allows us to confirm receipt of your application once it is submitted. You may also preview the application in advance of completing it online.

Before you apply

• Please carefully review all application instructions
• Prepare your responses in advance by previewing the application
• Have available
• Social Security number if one has been assigned
• High school transcript(s)
• College transcript(s)
• . Have a valid credit card available for the application fee payment. If you prefer to pay by mail, download the Rutgers payment form.

After You Apply

• Follow the progress of your application at Your Rutgers Status site
• Request transcripts if you have not yet done so
• Request electronic test scores if you have not yet done so
• Pay $60 application if you have not yet done so or submit a fee waiver
